Got Questions?

If you don’t see your question here, schedule a consultation and write: "more questions" in the space to add more information.

I am located in Morehead City, North Carolina. All of my work is virtual, so we can meet wherever you're at!

Virtual therapy takes place through video calls. When you schedule a consultation, we will have a 30 min video call. After you schedule, you will receive welcome emails with a video link. Then, we will meet over video from that link. Easy Peasy!

No, because my office is part of my home. I do not do in person sessions at this time.

As of 3.10.26, any clients who do not have an insurance I accept can do private pay. I can accept of out network benefits, and I can provide you with superbills.

I do take some insurances, depending on the state you live in. Any copays or co-insurance are required by clients, and your insurance company can let you know if you have a copay, co-insurance, or deductible.

North Carolina - BCBS, Aetna, Cigna, United, and Tricare

Michigan - BCBS, BCN, United, Aetna, and Tricare

Any private pay sessions are priced at $200 per session, and out of network rates are set by insurance companies so you would need to reach out to them to get that information.

Your first contact with me will be a consultation call, where we chat about what's bringing you to therapy and how I can help. We get to know each other to make sure that we are a good team both clinically and personality-wise.

During your first appointment, called an initial intake appointment, we will review a history of your life experiences and discuss how you got to where you are now. This appointment is typically an hour, and I'll send you the forms to fill out prior to our appointment via email.

Honestly, this isn't something I can answer without ever talking to you. Some people are in therapy for 3 months, some people are in it for years. One thing I can promise you though, is that I don't encourage people to stay in therapy once they feel like they're done. I always say that my goal is to help you graduate from therapy, and we start with the assumption that you're going to outgrow me one day.

A good faith estimate is a financial estimate of how much money you will spend in therapy over time if you are private pay. It's a document I am legally required to provide you, and it gives hypothetical figures on what out of pocket therapy could cost based on the amount of time you are in therapy and how many sessions you have.
